FAQ

How do I list my business?

Our site is made up of mom-recommended businesses and activities only.  BoulderMomsConnect.com will list you here if you can provide a mom review for your businesses once you are posted.  All we ask is that a client/parent come and review your business once it goes live. This is simple and free to you.  We ask that you maintain a 4-5 star rating.

How do I list an event?

See this blog post for a complete description.

What should I review on Boulder Moms Connect?

Unlike other directory services, we have not limited you to just businesses.  We’ve included the outdoors, activities and events to name a few.  Please review any and all listings.

I see a lot of positive feedback, but my experience was not great, can I write something negative?

Of course.  This site was created based upon mom’s feedback over the years.  To get listed a mom, like you, had to make a suggestion.  So, chances are your experience will be a positive one.  Please just keep in mind the legal consequences if you post false information.

Do reviews ever get removed?

We may remove a review if it contains inappropriate language, violates a person’s privacy, or contains untrue information.

Will my information ever be sold or shared with businesses?

Nope, never!  Please see our privacy policy.

Is Boulder Moms Connect free?

Yes.  There are certain paid advertising features though.

I’m ready to write a review, where do I start?

Create a log-in and get started.

Where does the information on the listings come from?

The listing pages are created by business owners, site visitors and from publicly availiable directories and official business websites. Please verify the information is current and correct, if necessary.

Will BoulderMomsConnect.com be available in book/magazine form?

No, for a variety of reasons:

  • Boulder Moms Connect is a community, if it was in print form, the collaboration with other community moms would be lost.
  • I love books, but our world is becoming increasingly more digital and I feel that would be a step in the wrong direction.
  • Environmentally, this has less impact on our planet.
  • In the current economic state, businesses are coming and going at an alarming rate.  By the time the book would be completed and published it would be obsolete.
