Being the 3rd baby and the second boy, Lil C doesn’t get much that is new. Christmas and his first birthday were hard, because what we needed we already had, and what he would have wanted we had. So for his first birthday, I splurged and got him an unneeded super soft fleece sweatshirt. It’s going to be a sad day when he outgrows it. Perhaps the softest thing any baby of mine has ever had, until now…

As always we only feature and list mom-recommended companies. In the past few months the name, “Ambajam” has been tossed around from several moms. So I started reading about them, following them on Facebook and Twitter. When I was given the opportunity to review one of their products I jumped! I knew exactly what I wanted – one of their amazingly soft blankets. I’m not one for celebrities, but it surely says something about their blankets when they are featured in O Magazine. As in, they are on Oprah’s list!

When the blanket arrived it was packaged precisley with a personal little note attached. Such a sweet touch. There wasn’t excess packaging, which I appreciated.

After I took this picture, I realized I was burning dinner, so I put it on the couch and ran back to the kitchen. Dad walked in the door a few minutes later and saw the package and asked if he could open it. I was dealing with possible flames in the kitchen when I heard him rip it open. Keep in mind, I couldn’t see him from where I was. Then I hear, “oh honey, who is this for?” “Ahhh, this is softer then the sweatshirt you bought Lil C.”

Really?

Oh, let dinner burn.

It is amazing.

I love that right out of the package it’s fresh. It’s oh, so incredibly soft. We had to test it that night. It’s been attached to one of our family of 5 ever since.

We have pets and I worried it would be a pet hair magnet. I’m not sure how exactly it’s made, but the pet hair doesn’t get woven in like some other blankets. Not that we are sharing this blanket with our four legged family members.

I went with the jumbo blanket, because let’s face it Lil C isn’t so little anymore and I wanted something he could use for a long time. This blanket is large enough for my husband and I to share. I could have gone with a smaller blanket and he could have used that for a long time too.

Beyond their blankets, the vibrant colors of their items are bright and cheerful – perfect for little people. If I could shrink Lil C again I would get him this frog onesie.
