We have been fortunate enough to have Krista Steckman, PT, DPT, ATC from Pelvic Therapy Specialists, PC write monthly articles for our blog related to women’s health. She can be found on our blog on the first Friday of every month.
She has shared a wealth of knowledge on topics such as urinary incontinence both during and after pregnancy, healing after a c-section or tearing/episiotomy, and more. Since our site launched in July, we’ve had a few other individuals contribute great pieces as well. In order to help our readers find this information we’ve put them under the “Blog” tab at the top of the screen under “Women’s Health.” If you want to go back and catch up on anything, that is where you will find Krista and many others.
In addition, we have some more exciting news. Every third Friday we will have a guest post from Diane A. Christopher MD a Boulder OBGYN. Here is a little about Diane:
Hello! I am a practicing physician obstetrician and gynecologist in Boulder, Colorado. I grew up in Loveland, Colorado taking hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park and rooting for the Broncos. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder and my medical degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. I moved to Chicago for residency, and graduated from Northwestern University. While in residency, I trained at Prentice Women’s Hospital, one of the largest free-standing women’s hospitals in the United States. In addition, I trained at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. While in Chicago, I also met my husband. We recently moved to Colorado, and are very excited to be part of the Boulder community. I practice with the Boulder Medical Center, P.C. I operate and deliver at Boulder Community Hospital. I have a passion for teaching and education. My hope is to improve understanding of women’s health topics.
