South Boulder Creek Trail (1.5 mile between Baseline & South Boulder Rd.). ( 2.0 mile between South Boulder Rd & Marshall Rd.). This trail meanders southward along the riparian (stream side) corridor and is highlighted by self-guided interpretive displays. This area affords seasonal viewing of the bobolink, for which the trailhead was named, and other ground nesting birds. At South Boulder Road the trail continues through an underpass then turns westward paralleling the road for approximately 0.2 miles before heading south along the creek once more. The trail meets Marshall Road at its southern end. Please note that dogs are not allowed south of this gate where the trail follows the stream south of South Boulder Road. This trail is sport chair accessible from the trailhead to the East Boulder Community Center turn off and south of South Boulder Road. North of the trailhead you may cross Baseline and via Gaptor Road connect to the Centennial Trail which is a hard surface trail.
